Over and Out

recently there have been a few changes at the d'oiseaux recordings; birds who like pomegranate camp. it's time to get low with our current project: Magnificent Peach Trees. if you've gotten into the craziness that is recording and following your dream of building some semblance of what's in your head into real life- you know...it gets a little nutsy. throw a kid in the mix and a recalcitrant baby mama in there and you can get straight strained.
lucky for us hip hop goes on for days... with or without us, per se.
so while we get our p's and q's in our EQ, i'll be dropping gems and whatnot here on the daily about anything else other than what we're doing.

call it b.phlecksi parmella's little diversion, if you will.

there is nothing more frustrating, yet wonderful at the same time to live with a soul right in the middle of yourself, have a son who sees it like it's plastered across your torso- and you be the only two on the planet who see what's in the making. people can talk all day about the mother child connection- but the father son thing in this day and age is completely underrated.

maybe you get that i'm doing it for my boy. but i'm doing it for his father. you got one shot, yo. you gotta come true. especially now. we live on the planet with some people who have tapped some serious truth to make the aural soundscape a beautiful wondrous place. And we want to add to that.

so wish us worktime, no luck needed, while we crack open our brand of hip hop that we will introduce as The Magnificent Peach Trees recordings.

here's a lyrical taste, so you know we're not faking the funk:

"well, i never

blazed the wrong mic
hit the wrong man
got to steppin quickly
project da dream brand

watched and moved
reacted to winds of change
strange refrains
wherever they might land

little here. smidge a bit when it’s wrecked
streaked cheeks joy to behold be direct
dropped hip hop reams over years
takes place traced long disappears"

-from, They Ain't Know

yeah, well, you know. we're at it.

until tomorrow,

-b.phlecksi parmella along as frank niao for BWLP
